On the morning of last Wednesday (December 29), two men were executed with several shots at close range at the Láberto Aberto farm, located at km 160 south, in the rural area of Uruará, in western Pará.
A third person was shot by the gunmen, but ran and managed to escape with his life. The victim is admitted to a hospital in Uruará. The gang was hooded when they invaded the headquarters of the rural property and shot the local residents.
According to first information, about five gunmen arrived at the scene and shot the farmer in the head. Then they went to the corral and shot the other victims. The shooting lasted about 1st minutes. The attack was the 4th suffered by the owner of the farm. On August 22, 2021, his youngest son died during an ambush.
The crime may be related to an old dispute with another farmer, but there is a suspicion that the conflict is related to the dispute over land ownership. The farmer died sitting in a chair. The gang stole an armored truck and weapons from the farm. The Police carry out investigations in search of criminals.
